Vertical Workstation with a Smaller Footprint

The Proaim Soundchief is a highly portable Cart that provides sound recordists with a strong, compact, and lightweight solution for easily moving their equipment.
The Cart has a small footprint and could easily fit into the boot of your vehicle.
Solid Aluminum Construction ensures stability even when loaded to the max payload of 150kg / 330.69lb.

Convenient Design

The Proaim Soundchief Cart has been designed with user convenience in mind.
The hinged side wings, when collapsed let you move the Cart easily through doorways. When fully extended, these side wings provide an additional 24″ of workspace.
4 Removable side panels reduce dust penetration inside the Cart and provide easy access to rack-mounted components.
A 2.5" cable pass-through hole allows you to manage your cables easily.
With an average assembly/disassembly time of 2-3 minutes, the tool-less design makes it the most user-friendly Cart.

Adjustable & Sturdy Handles
The new and improved handle grips incorporate a hinge locking mechanism that allows you to remove or adjust the handles quickly and easily. The handles offer more effortless mobility.
Two sturdy handles, one in the front and one at the back, helps easily pull the workstation over cables, obstacles, and uneven surfaces.

Smooth and Reliable Wheel System

The Proaim Soundchief features reliable and lightweight 9" Dovetail Wheels in the front and standard 20" Pneumatic wheels in the back to improve its access on stairs. It endures any load placed upon it and still rolls incredibly smooth and silent.
The use of Pneumatic wheels instead of the industry-standard rubber wheels makes sure that the overall setup remains light, smooth and sturdy.

Always in Control

The specially designed foot brakes of the Soundchief Cart keep it completely steady, stable and secure for reliable parking and eliminate your worries even when you are not close to the Cart. The brakes are such that they don't become loose over time even when the tires experience some wear and tear and the thickness decreases.

Highly Customizable Cart

The Soundchief Cart includes two vertical poles at the back that hold a crossbar to mount multiple monitors.
Multiple mounting threads and Center Mast Bracket allow additional mounting options to customize the Cart to your exact requirements. You can mount transceivers, receivers, boom polls and more.

  • \"I bought 2 x Proaim Heavy-Duty Telescopic Mast w 5/8\\\"\" for my Sound Chief cart. My question is how can I mount them? Can you explain me? It is not clear if I have to use them alone or with the pipes that comes with the cart. Please provide a small video that can help me.\"

    You can use this mast riser in 2 different way,
    1. There is 32mm clamp attached with this cart, just need to fix pipe of riser , clamp is designed according to outer dimension of this mast riser and it will lock your mast riser properly.
    2. You can attach mast riser with speed rail pipe of cart whose inner diameter is 32 mm but there is no locking option for mast riser , mast riser will be movable.

  • How many rack spaces are there on the Soundchief cart?

    A maximum of 16 racks can be mounted in this cart, but if a gap is required then it can be mounted at a preferred distance

  • \"The speed rail & clamp dia is 38mm. so standard 1 1/4 speedrail won\'t fit those clamps ?\"

    The clamping of the Soundchief cart is for 38mm rails so the standard 1 1/4 speed rail won't fit.

  • What carpet you use for the carts ?

    The Black non woven carpets are used on our Carts.

  • What is the depth inside? How deep could racked equipment be before sticking out the back?

  • Is the bottom compartment rack-mountable for a battery to fit such as the psc Zeus?

    The bottom compartment is for small accessories only and not for heavy load.

  • Are there loading wheels for the back that can be added on?

    The Proaim Soundchief Cart | Vertical Workstation CT-SDCF-01 comes with the back wheels and no other wheels can be added further.

  • How many rack units does it come equipped with the standard?

    The Proaim Soundchief Cart | Vertical Workstation CT-SDCF-01 comes with the 16U rack rails.

  • Also is the bottom compartment rack-mountable for a battery to fit such as the psc Zeus? 

    The bottom compartment is for small accessories not for a big load.

    We are using 5mm bolts with a washer in the soundchief cart and If you want to use a non-metric bolt then it will be 13/64" in size.

  • How many \'U\'counts are there on Proaim Soundchief Cart (SKU: CT-SDCF-01) ?

    There are 24 Thread holes in the top and 24 Thread holes in the Bottom, therefore, there are 8U in the Top and 8U in the Bottom of the Proaim Soundchief Cart.
