Ergonomic and comfortable handling, as well as a quick setup, facilitates your responsible job on set. The Proaim Comet addresses the demand for a lightweight, stable and variable-length jib arm. The advantage is a very fast resetting of the arm length by telescoping in or out and then being locked off at the required working length. It offers smooth, vibration-free movements, added flexibility when working on tight sets.

The Proaim Comet Crane is the perfect balance of strength and portability. The High-grade aluminum constructed jib is designed specifically for heavier camera setups of 80kg/176lb. With variable lengths from 5.10ft/1.5m up to 12.4ft/3.78m (with extension), it is a full-fledged and versatile tool for studio & location use.

Comet Jib is a versatile piece of equipment and offers specialized movements and camera positioning. It is suitable for all standard Euro / Mitchell Remote Head systems. The Comet can be combined with additional existing Proaim accessories, for example, with a boom rig enabling recordings at ground level.

FRONT WHEEL BRAKES

  • Can you advise any monitor for a camera and cable that will work great for this crane?

    The monitor can be mounted with the Proaim Comet Crane with the help of Proaim Snaprig Universal Clamp with 3/8″-16 Threaded Stud (SC-02) and Proaim SnapRig 13inch Articulating Magic Arm (MA220) accessories. We do not sell any monitors so you have to purchase it as per your choice.

  • When this jib is at it's maximum height it's 10.5 feet tall. The question is where are you measuring the 10.5 feet? From the ground or from the top of the dolly?

    The maximum height of the Proaim Comet Jib is 10.5feet from the ground.

  • Hello, is screen includes in the crane packages ?

    The Proaim Camera Crane Packages does not include the monitors or screens.
