EASY BALANCING WITH MICRO-BALANCE MECHANISM
Camera Platform with Dovetail Quick-Release enables quick camera mounting/dismounting. It is Manfrotto 501 Compatible.
Fine-tuning knobs on camera platform for front-to-back and side-to-side camera adjustments. Telescopic center post with laser engraved guide scale markings offer quick & precise adjustments.

  Ans: Yes, this stabilizer comes with counter weight plates i.e. 8 weights for each side.

Q: Is it compatible with the arm and vest?

Ans: Yes it is compatible with the Arm & Vest. There are two options for Arm & vest for this camera stabilizer i.e.
i) Galaxy Arm & Vest - Flycam Galaxy Arm and Vest Stabilizer
ii) Vista-II Arm and Vest - Flycam Vista-II Stabilizing Arm & Vest

Q: Does it come with a protector bag ?

Ans: Yes, this Flycam Redking includes the foam packaging with bag.

Q: Can I mount LCD Monitor with Flycam Redking?

Ans: Yes, you can mount the LCD monitor onto the weight plate of Flycam Redking. You need to remove the weights from one side to which you want to mount the LCD monitor.

Q: What's the maximum weight capacity?

Bought it a year ago and its still great!

I was on the fence going for this or the Glidecam, and I am happy that I got this one. The Glidecam would have been way more expensive, and this has served me very well! It has been said that this stabilizer is a bit more sticky than the higher tier, Glidecam brand; but, if you are willing and able to learn the curve when it comes to using this stabilizer, you would not even notice. I highly recommend this product. I am a student amongst a group of remarkable individuals called Full Time Filmmaker IF you are a beginner and are worried about missing out because of the "low price = lower quality" scale: do not. You can make awesome stuff with this. It is not the gear that is the creator. It is you! Make it happen!

Super professional gear!!!

FANTASTIC!!!! Built just like a glide cam ($800 professional gear) but about a fourth of the price. Highly recommend for beginners who want quality gear for a good price.

The Flycam Redking is a Good Alternative to the Glidecam.

The Flycam Redking is a Good Alternative to the Glidecam Devin Graham series. It does not feel cheap. Good construction and works great.

  • I'm wanting to attach a Zhiyun Crane 2S gimbal to the dovetail quick release plate and attach it to the Redking. Is there a way to make that connection from the quick release to the gimbal more secure than a 1/4 20 screw? I don't want it to snap the screw.

    Flycam Redking is not compatible with DJI-RSC 2.
