Highly Customizable Film Cart

The Proaim Atlas V2 Cart is much more than a standard camera cart. Modular by design, it allows you to attach gimbals, monitors, baby pins, laptop plates, and anything else you might want to use with it. Choose from over 50 different accessories and you can transform it into a DIT Cart, a Sound Cart, a Lighting Cart or even an Equipment Dolly.

The built-in ¼" -20 and ARRI standard 3/8" -16 threaded holes offer creative mounting options on the Cart.

Very Convenient Design

The Proaim Atlas V2 Cart has been designed with the convenience of its user in mind. The drawer is affixed to your cart by drilling holes into the cart, ensuring a solid and secure attachment.

An average Assembly/Disassembly Time of 2-3 minutes, Tool-less Design and its ability to Collapse into a Compact 7" Thick Suitcase makes it the most user-friendly Cart out there.

Simply put, the combination of these features helps you in saving the precious time on-set and makes it super easy to travel.

New Adjustable Handles

The new and improved handle grips incorporate a hinge locking mechanism that allows you to remove or adjust the position of the handle quickly and easily without removing the top shelf. It helps in creating leverage needed while lifting the Cart quickly over obstacles, stairs or other incline surfaces.

Advanced Wheel System

The Proaim Atlas V2 comes equipped with 10" Pneumatic wheels and 100% sealed bearing housing, which ensures that your Cart endures any load placed upon it and still roll incredibly smooth and silent.

The use of Pneumatic wheels instead of the industry-standard rubber wheels makes sure that the overall setup remains light, smooth and sturdy.

2 x 360° rotatable rear wheels and two non-rotatable front wheels make cart steering extremely smooth and easy.

The wheels attach to the Cart via a Dovetail Mechanism that ensures quick assembly and disassembly.

Always in Control

The specially designed foot brakes of the Atlas V2 Cart keep it completely steady, stable and secure for reliable parking and eliminating your worries even when you are not close to the Cart. The brakes are such that they don't become loose over time even when the tires experience some wear and tear, and the thickness decreases.

Grip Cutouts

The Atlas V2 features new Grip Cutouts on both the shelves of the Cart. These allow you to lift the Cart from both sides and load it into the truck or other vehicles. You can also use these to lift the Cart over obstacles or move it from one place to another.

Travel-Friendly

Altas V2 can break down and stored in a few minutes. By design, the Atlas V2 is built to collapse on itself when not in use, making it incredibly easy to transport from one location to the next. No longer are you in need of a grip truck to bring your equipment to the next location, when now it all can sit firmly in the trunk of a midsized Sedan.

Very, very well built.

It's hard to understate the build quality of this cart. I've been renting the other industry-standard cart made in the U.S. for a few months. I bought the 48" Atlas V2 when it went on sale. It just arrived, and wow, this thing is really well-built. While the U.S.-made cart was well designed and weight was a factor in its design, Atlas is absolutely a beast. The fit and finish are really nice. I'm pretty picky about the details, but Proaim nailed it. Pros: -The top and bottom decks are milled aluminum with zero flex. -The flop-down top tray rail adds strength to the top deck when it's down, and the hinges are very sturdy. The latch mechanism is very satisfying. -As far as I can see, there are zero sharp spots. Everything is chamfered and milled smooth. The connections are all well-made—not loose or fiddly at all. -I'm 6'1", and the height of the top deck is very comfortable, slightly taller than other carts. -It's heavy. It's hard to call this a con because I wanted a sturdier cart than the Inovativ, and really, I wonder how they could have made this lighter without sacrificing rigidity. You can't go wrong with this one if you are looking for your first cart and need more money for the more expensive brands. It would even work great as a one-person simple gear cart. This cart is a no-brainer in a studio environment where it stays built. I'm massively pleased.

Top-notch big cart!

I love this cart. This thing is well-built and easy to set up. I did it alone and had no problem configuring everything and tightening up. It rolls easily and fits through doors. It's got tons of cheese plate screw holes all over the sides to mount whatever you want, and it's thick, CNC-milled solid aluminum so that it will last. The wheels are easy to put on and take off, plus the whole thing can be folded up with the wheels fitting inside. It turns into a big rectangle like the obelisk from 2001 A Space Odessa, but with hard wheels on one end and a handle on the other to roll it around for putting it into a van or truck for transport. I've taken this cart off the road on bumpy ground with an Alexa Mini and tons of stuff, and it can do it. The accessory ecosystem is very robust as well. I bought two camera mounts with the horseshoe metal bracket, and I have different bowl sizes to mount various tripod heads. It is awesome to fully build two cameras on tripod heads and roll onto the set. I have the tripod holder on one end that carries two tripods so that I can be fully mobile with two cameras and even a teleprompter rig. This cart can hold lights, apple boxes, lenses, tools, cables, batteries, a sound bag + mixer, a laptop, and some C-stands or light stands all at once.

Best Investment I Have Made

This cart is perfect for work as a 2nd AC. The cart is the perfect sized senior cart and allows for me to cart around my entire camera kit, plus more. Makes my life significantly easier and makes my 1st AC and DP look organised and efficient. The wheels are the best wheels I've seen on a cart. The clamps use to hold everything into place once it's built feel so premium, you know it's not going to collapse under load. The keyboard cutout is amazing for when I'm wrangling data on the go and whip my laptop out. A feature I didn't know I needed until I had it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trolley that can fold into a compact space, but still have the high quality and space of a production cart.

  • is there a way to lower the standard height 41” like i just need a 30” to 34” ?

    There is no option to change the height of the Proaim Atlas V2 cart as its top shelf is fixed. But we have the Proaim Victor pro cart as it has an up & down movable top shelf so you can adjust the height. For reference, you can watch this youtube video: https://youtu.be/6dyyoJ1zkqw 

  • What is the diameter of the inner opening on the wheel bearings? 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch maybe?
